Gorilla Trekking Safari Rules
Rules and Regulations for Trekkers of Mountain Gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda
* Persons under 15 are not allowed to track gorillas.
* Visitors with a communicable disease are not allowed to enter the park. (Flu, Diarrhoea)
* Flashes are not allowed while photographing the Gorillas.
* Don’t make loud noise or move suddenly.
* Don’t get closer than 7 meters (21 feet) to the gorillas.
*Stay together in a tight group with gorillas.
* Don’t leave litter in the park. This must be disposed off properly.
* Visitors are allowed a maximum of 1 hour with the gorillas.
*Don’t eat or smoke when with the gorillas.
*Turn away from the Gorillas, and cover your mouth and nose while sneezing.
* Don’t spit on Vegetation or soil while in the park. Use a hankie or other garment to spit.
